Banana Ice Cream

A delicious and nutritious treat for a hot summer day. Peel several ripe bananas (but not overripe) and freeze in an airtight container. When frozen, remove from freezer and blend with the S blade in your food processor. You may have to stop the food processor a couple of times to push down banana pieces that climbed up the sides of the bowl.

As the frozen bananas blend they start to look like a creamy whip. When you see this whip-like consistency, you know you have done it and there is your ice cream. Quickly, transfer it back to the freezer so it doesn't turn into a liquidy mush. You can serve it with brownies, drizzle syrup, garnish with banana slices, or just the way it is. Enjoy!
